Reading the Grand Staff

After working on this project for over a decade, I have finally taught myself how to read notes on the grand staff quickly. Yay.

The 50 State Capitals

After learning the states, it became so much fun I just went ahead and created a project for the capitals as well! Be patient, though, because every part of the process was done only by me, and my skills were limited.

The Geography of the US

My Dad used to tease me, saying, "As long as the college does not expect you to teach math or geography, you should be okay." This always drove me crazy, but he was probably correct. So I taught myself the geography of the U.S. You're on your own with math. ::sorry::

Meet a method for summarizing informational texts.

I can still remember my struggles in 4th grade. I could read our textbook, but I was not good at understanding what I read. And taking notes or studying for a test? The only strategy I had in my brain's tool kit was rereading, which took forever and wasn't so effective.

I found this method as I was collecting resources for my dissertation, and I've been working to fully bring it to life for almost a decade.

Let's go!

10 steps for reading a research-based article.

Learning to Read Music

Although I love learning how to play the piano,

My goal is to raise money and build a rehabilitation training facility in North Georgia.

I started Ruby's Rescues here in Atlanta. We work to save shelter dogs and we also rehab baby squirrels.
